How Healthcare Technician (HCT) Program Applicants are Selected into the HCTProgram

Students are selected into the Healthcare Technician Program on a point system.  When a student has met all the requirements, then students are given points in general for the following:

• Grades on pre-requisites
• Deduction of points for repeats of HCT pre-requisite courses
• Extra points for non-core HCT courses (1 pt. each) such as for:

Psych 220, Growth & Development;

HCHS 121, Medical Terminology II;

HCHS 213, Body Structure & Function.
