UNM-G Pre-Nursing Certificate Degree Plan (Classes you need)
Please see an advisor to assist you. While you're working on your prerequiste classes for the UNM-G nursing program, you may choose to declare the prenursing certificate as your major! This certificate is excellent because it incorporates all the general education courses necessary for the associate degree in nursing. Often it helps with financial aid to have prenursing declared as a major. There's another GREAT option to major in prior to the nursing program, and that is the Healthcare Technician program!
