What is the NACEP?

NACEP – Nursing Assistant Competency Evaluative Program

 

NACEP is the New Mexico State Exam to obtain Certification as a Nursing Assistant. If you wish to take this exam you need the following:

 

#1 – Obtain an unofficial transcript from the Registrar’s Office (proof of passing the training program – HCNA 101/102 and HCNA 101L with a C or 75% average)

 

#2 – A Money Order made out to Prometric for the requested fee: $99.75 ($95.00 fee + $4.75 tax)

 

#3 – Obtain an application from Marie Claire Salois, NACEP Coordinator during your scheduled appointment in Health Careers II, Room 141 or 161.

 

N.B. If you intend to take the NACES Prep Course before taking the exam, all the above is also necessary.
