Center for Career and Technical Education
The Center for Career and Technical Education (CCTE) offers classes fifteen (15) different career areas for currently enrolled high school juniors and seniors. These classes provide basic, job entry-level skills for those students whose high school diploma will be their terminal degree. More importantly, these classes provide the basis for the more advanced college level studies in these fields leading to Certificates or college degrees.
The high school guidance counselor enrolls students at their home school. All CCTE classes satisfy high school graduation requirements and at the same time provide college credits to the student (concurrent/duel enrollment). In this way students may work towards their high school degrees and at the same time begin their college career.
The programs offered through CCTE include;
- Automotive Technology*
- Business Technology
- Computer Repair and Networking

- Construction Technology
- Cosmetology*

- Culinary Arts
- Health Occupations

* These classes prepare students for their credentialing exam.
