Welcome to the University of New Mexico-Gallup Student Services pages. UNM-Gallup, established in 1968 with 128 students, is located in Gallup, New Mexico, with a current enrollment of approximately 3,000 students. The largest of the four branch campuses of the University of New Mexico, UNM-Gallup is also the oldest.
Like most community colleges, UNM-Gallup has open enrollment, and attracts a wide range of students. Among those who will find a home here: the older student looking to get a high school diploma; vocational students looking to finish high school while learning a trade; college graduates looking for an associate's degree to launch a career; students seeking a four-year university degree, who want to take their core courses in a smaller, more affordable college prior to transferring to a four-year university.
At UNM-Gallup, we understand diversity and celebrate our difference. In addition to our large Native American enrollment, we enroll and graduate students from across the nation and around the world. Our small class size and affordable tuition certainly make UNM-Gallup the smart choice for students in this region, while our growing roster of online classes makes UNMG a viable choice for students far away.
