The Bridge to Success Scholarship

The scholarship is established by the board of regents of each institution to establish scholarships to students who are residents of New Mexico in an amount not to not to exceed tuition and fees.

Duration:

First academic semester not covered by Legislative Lottery Scholarship.

Eligibility:

A NM Resident, graduated from a New Mexico public, accredited private high school or received the GED certificate from NM.

Amount:

$841.20

NM Legislative Lottery Scholarship

The scholarship will pay a portion of tuition for students who immediately attending a New Mexico public college or university after obtaining a New Mexico diploma of excellence or high school equivalency.

 

Duration:

Renewable for three consecutive semesters. Student must transfer to a 4-year institution for the remaining four consecutive semester.

Eligibility:

Earn 12 new credit hours each semester (repeated classes do not count toward credit hours earned); maintain a 2.5 CGPA, must be fulltime, undergraduate.

Amount:

$841.20

The New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship

The New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship provides tuition and fee assistance for students enrolled in 2-year programs, including credit-bearing certificate or associate degree programs, in a public institution of higher education or Tribal College in New Mexico.


Eligibility:

TO BE ELIGIBLE, STUDENTS MUST:

  • Be 18 years of age (or eligible to receive the NM Lottery Scholarship) at time of enrollment
  • Be a resident of New Mexico
  • Enroll full-time (at least 12 credit hours) in a credit-bearing 2-year program
  • Maintain at least a 2.5 grade point average (GPA)

NM Early Childhood Education and Care Department Scholarship
