UNM-Gallup was awarded a grant from NASA in 2005. Dr. Ruth Bombaugh and Tom Kaus used the grant to promote and strengthen Math 215, a course for Elementary and Middle School Teachers. Funds from this grant were used to develop this web site, which continues today. The grant was also supported by the Dean, Dr. Chris Marlow.

Alok Dhital and Tom Kaus are teaming up to produce a techology driven College Algebra class for the Fall '08 semester. The course will include the use of the TI-84+ calculator, clickers, SmartBoard, Web CT, the internet and the Plato learning software. We hope to promote the learning of the material both in and out of class.
