College Council
The College Council is a collegial and consultative body designed to serve the good of UNM-Gallup. It promotes collaboration and facilitates professional, timely, factual, and clear communication between constituent groups on campus.It also provides recommendations to the Executive Team on college matters that are aligned with the mission, vision and strategic plan.
Meetings
The College Council meets for one hour on the third Wednesday of each month and is chaired by the Chancellor or their designee. Agenda items from the membership are requested via email one week in advance of the scheduled meeting.
Membership
The membership of the College Council includes the Chancellor, Dean of Instruction, Director of Student Affairs, Director of Business Operations, Manager of Facilities and Maintenance, Faculty Assembly President, Staff Council President, Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Information Technology Manager, Police Sergeant, and Senior Public Relations Specialist.
