Physical Education Complex Update

The Physical Education Complex is open to current UNM-Gallup students, staff, and faculty. Non UNM affiliates are not allowed at this time. To check into the complex, please use the IMLeagues app

The UNM-Gallup Physical Education complex is located on the southeast side of the campus, the building on the east side of Calvin Hall. The P.E. complex provides a basketball court, weight room; showers and lockers for current registered students, UNM staff and faculty.

Spring 2024 P.E. classes offered are: Walk for Wellness, Yoga, Martial Arts, Pilates Beginning, Zumba, and Indoor Cycling. Please visit the Class Schedule for more details.

Monday – Thursday:

8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday:
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

P.E. Complex Amenities

Basketball Court

Our gymnasium offers patrons a basketball court which can also be utilized as a indoor walking/jogging track.

Weight Room

This room is fully equipped with stationary weight machines, free weights, treadmills and elliptical machines.

Yoga/Mat Room

We also have a robust offering of fitness classes which are all taught by certified instructors who can help you achieve your healthiest life style.

Walking Trail

For a walk or run through the beautiful Gallup landscape, there are two fitness trails that loop behind the gymnasium.  With several gentle hills, the larger trail is approximately 1 mile in length while the smaller trail is about ¼ mile in length. Several fitness stations are located on the trail to enhance and complete your full work out.   For the safety and comfort of all trail users, bikes, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the trails.
