Welcome to the Math 215 website. This continues to be a work in progress. This site began in 2005 with the help from a grant from NASA entitled NASA Opportunities for Visionary Academics (NOVA). NOVA was created to develop and disseminate a national framework for enhancing science, mathematics and technology literacy for preservice teachers in the 21st century.

Technology: The grant helped in the purchase of 25 TI-84+ silver edition calculators. Each semester students check them out at the beginning of the school year. Software was also purchased to help in the creation of this site and in video production. UNM-Gallup supported the grant in that it purchased an in focus projector for Calvin Hall 173.

Nova Model : Although NOVA is no longer a functioning agency for grants, you can still visit the website and see what else NASA is doing to support education.
