In addition to affording educational and training opportunities to students who plan to directly enter the field of corrections, criminal justice, or education, this department provides course offerings for those students who plan to matriculate into a four-year degree program. The Education Departments also works closely with various community law enforcement and emergency services, as well as educational agencies in our area to offer specialized training and course work to specific groups needed to meet state or national standards and proficiencies as required by that profession.

If you are a certified police officer or a graduate of a certified police academy, contact Floyd Kezele at (505) 863-7751 to see how you might qualify to 30 college credits. The next course/exam session is scheduled for May - July 2005.
