The UNM-Gallup Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program The UNM-G Nursing Program has been opened since the spring of 2002, and received full approval for eight years from the New Mexico Board of Nursing. The ADN program admits up to 28 students each fall and spring semester. UNM-Gallup is located in the middle of the Navajo and Zuni reservations in Gallup, New Mexico. Gallup is approximately 132 miles west of Albuquerque on I-40. The program is actively working on NLNAC Accreditation has has received Candidacy Status until 2010. A new nursing building opened for the nursing, nursing assistant, and healthcare tech programs in summer of 2007. The building is also complete with facilities for a radiology technician program, the curriculum and approval of which are being worked on currently. |
