Seven Steps to Apply to UNM-G Nursing Program_
Follow these seven simple steps to apply to UNM-G Nursing Program.
When you have done all the items listed in the seven simple steps then your "APPLICATION PACKET" is complete, and you qualify to take the TEAS nursing program entrance exam. You will NOT receive a letter or any other notification stating you are eligible to take the TEAS. It is your responsibility to make sure that your application is complete. If it is complete, you may show up the day of the TEAS test.
If you are missing any of the items listed here, you are NOT ELIGIBLE to take the TEAS nursing program entrance exam. If you come the day of the exam and your file is NOT complete, you will be turned away from the test site. It is your responsibility to make sure that your application is complete. You will NOT receive a letter or other notification from UNM-G nursing program that your file is incomplete.
Again, it is your responsibility to make sure that your application packet is complete. How students who have completed these seven steps earn a seat in the nursing program.

Apply for and get accepted into the college: UNM-Gallup (Admissions Department) |

2. |
Complete all pre-requisite courses with a "C" or better. You may click here for a list of pre-requisites. |

3. |
Know common nursing assistant skills (What skills you will be expected to demonstrate) |

4. |
Hold a current American Heart Association CPR card. (Here's a list of AHA CPR classes from our local hospital.) |

5. |
Get the most current copies of ALL your transcripts. Attach them to your application. |

6. |
Obtain and complete a UNM-G Nursing Program application. |
|
|

7. |
Submit ALL your application materials at once. This is your ticket to taking the T.E.A.S. test. Only those with complete and cleared application packets will be allowed to take the TEAS Nursing Entrance Exam. |
