Barbara Ann Kline, R.N., B.S., UNM-G Nursing Assistant & Healthcare Technician Coordinator and Nursing Assistant Faculty Barbara Ann has worked at UNM-G for many years. She coordinates both the Nursing Assistant and HCT programs while teaching, as well. She has a bachelor of science in psychology and a bachelor of arts in theology. She's been in nursing just under 40 years and has been working in her specialty, geriatrics, since 1980. Prior, she worked in CCU, ICU, Medical Intensive Care, Respiratory Intensive Care and in an Intensive Research Unit. She also has experience in alcohol and drug rehabilitation. |
Karen Ann Hawkinson, L.P.N. UNM-G Nursing Assistant Faculty
Karen is a U.S. Army Veteran bringing expertise as a U.S. Army Medic. She has 35 years of licensed practical nursing experience in various hospital and longterm care settings including but not limited to correctional facilities, hospitals, dialysis centers, V.A. hospitals and nursing homes. She has been on the nursing assistant faculty for 10 years in various lab, clinical, and didactic positions. |
