Earn an Associates of Applied Science in Construction
An Associate of Applied Science Degree in Consrtuction Technology is designed to develop skill and abilities necessary to meet employment standards in the construction field. A student who completes the degree program will be prepared to hold a variety of entry level jobs in the construction industry. A graduate with a degree in Applied Science, Construction Technology, may be eligible to seek employment in the following areas:
- Building Management
- General Carpentry/Plumbing Repairman
- Electrical Maintenance Worker
- HVAC Service Person
- Concrete Trades Helper
- Masonry Trades Helper
- Building Materials Manufacturer
- Building Materials Estimator
- Building Supervisors Assistant
A total of 60 credits is required, with 20 credits in General Education, 27 credits in Construction Technology Core, and 13 in Construction Technology Electives.
Earn a Certificate in General Construction and more...
Certificates are available in General Construction, Carpentry, Electrical Trades, Masonry Trades, and Mechanical Trades. Thirty total credits are required for the certificate, with 9 credits in General Education, 18 credits in Construction Technology Core, and 3 credits in Construction Technology Elective.
