Welcome to the Internet home of the University of New Mexico's Gallup Campus. As you browse through these pages we hope you get a feeling for the nature of our efforts on behalf of the students who bring the campus to life, and the community of which we are a part. Academics form a central part of university life, of course, and it is our intent to offer students every opportunity, and every assistance, in pursuing their own goals as they move through our programs. Whether you intend preparing yourself for a career immediately on leaving the campus or seek to move on to further study you will find a faculty and staff committed to your success. Take advantage of the many opportunities described here and in our catalog, and never doubt that when you need help or advice we are here to offer it.

The time you spend on campus is very special, and I hope you will look for chances to make it even more so both in the classroom and through associations with the people of the University. This is a chance for you to take control of your own future. I urge you to take hold of that chance and make it real. Someone once said that we grow in large part by dreaming our future and making those dreams reality. Along the way, let your imagination expand and share your dreams with all of us.
