Liliana De La Garza received her Bachelors in Elementary Education with a Bilingual Endorsement from the University of Texas at El Paso in El Paso, Texas, Master's in Counseling from the University of Phoenix, and Master's in Administration from Denver University. Liliana is the youngest of five girls. She is a 2nd language learner. She enjoys gardening, watching movies, and cooking. She has two four legged kids named Nutella, a schnauzer mix and Minnie, a chihuahua.

Dual Credit: High school students included in the higher education landscape and culture, the challenges and accomplishments

Description:

The proposed topic is "how we serve underserved students in a dual credit environment." Three early college high schools from different regions will highlight and what we are doing to provide an opportunity for students to receive both a high school diploma and college education toward an Associates degree by completing a successful acquisition of dual credit.
