Reid Wessels begins his 15th year as an educator and his second year as the Head of School at The MASTERS Program (TMP). Reid has worked as a high school teacher and in an administrative capacity for charter high schools in New Mexico and as an administrator at the collegiate level. He has undergraduate degrees in both Communications and Journalism, and English from the University of New Mexico. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Language Arts Curriculum from UNM and a second Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Eastern New Mexico University. He enjoys summiting mountains, fishing, and reading.

This session highlights three distinct early college high schools in New Mexico, and what they are doing to promote a head start in college for students from underserved populations and how those students are meaningfully supported in the successful acquisition of dual credit.
