Costs
Regular ILL services are provided at no charge to UNM-Gallup faculty, students and staff members. However, please be aware that each Interlibrary Loan costs the borrowing and lending Library in staff processing time, computer time, postage, and lending fees. The average cost for an interlibrary loan ranges between $37.50 and $54 for each item.
You may wish instead to submit a Library Collection Request form for the library to purchase a book rather than borrowing it. Purchasing a book can often be less expensive for the library and the book may be received more quickly than an ILL request.
Please use the ILL privilege wisely and only for materials you actually intend to use. Requests should be made only for materials that are for classroom or academic research purposes.
