Dr. Antoinette Abeyta Participates in Congressional Women's History Month Celebration

March 19, 2021 - Campus Kudos go out to Dr. Antoinette Abeyta, Assistant Professor of Earth Science at UNM-Gallup, who was one of four educators honored on Thursday, March 18, during the Women's History Month celebration held by the U.S. House of Representatives!

The ceremony was led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, with First Lady Jill Biden and Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona giving remarks. While we encourage you to view the entire celebration, you can view Dr. Abeyta's remarks beginning at 29:13 in the video linked here.
