UNM-Gallup Process Technology

The Process Technology Program at UNM-Gallup will be a first of its kind in the state of New Mexico with an anticipated start date of Fall 2021, when the program will accept its first cohort of students.

Process technology is the term used to describe manufacturing or industrial processes that transform raw materials into higher value products that are used by consumers. UNM-Gallup is collaborating with local process industries to develop training necessary for work in industries that include water and wastewater treatment, food and beverage manufacturing, power generation, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, oil and gas, and pulp and paper.
