Outcome Measures

UNM-Gallup MLT Program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS). The following outcome measures are calculated based on NAACLS benchmarks.

Note: Maximum class size is 12. The MLT Program admits an average of 12 new students per year. Most students complete the MLT courses within two years.

GRADUATION RATE

NAACLS Benchmark for Graduation Rates: Three years consecutive results of graduation rates demonstrating an average of at least 70% of students who have begun the final half of the program go on to successfully graduate from the program as calculated by the most percent three-year period.

The final half of the program is the clinical practicum semester after completing two semesters of didactic MLT courses.
