Nakia Jackson

Nakia began attending UNM in the Summer of 2020 through the African American Student Services Summer Bridge Program. She is currently working as the ASUNM Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Her major is Sign Language Interpreting with a minor in Peace Studies. Nakia is passionate about advocating for underrepresented groups on campus and strives to make a lasting impact within the organizations she's part of.
